Introduction

Hi, and welcome to my teaching portfolio website. My name is Kristy Tan and I am an ESL and Humanities secondary school teacher. This space is a collection of my teaching experiences which demonstrate how I've competently met the 8 VIT standards.

Before and throughout my teaching degree, I have been working to extend my teaching capabilities by setting clear goals for myself each year. These include

• using assessment effectively
• building positive relationships
• gaining international experience 
• developing mastery of ICT skills to enhance teaching
